Safeguarding Multiple Occupancy Buildings (MOB) Customers

It has not been practical to hold sessions in all individual buildings due to space and other constraints however the project has still allowed us to reach and support:

    • 10,475 individual households.
    • 3,583 one-to-one conversations regarding CO, energy efficiency, income maximisation and inclusion on the PSR.
    • 463 valves have been installed in 463 buildings.
    • 43 CO alarms have been fitted.

The majority of properties are occupied by tenants and have CO alarms installed hence the low level of distribution.

The project facilitates the installation of a GPS tracker in fire isolation valves to all the multiple occupancy buildings and provide safeguarding advice.

By targeting MOBs across our network, we are able to target customers that are in vulnerable situations and offer advice and support on a range of our projects. The project will reach:

    • Energy advice and guidance – leaflet drop to all 10,616 homes in MOBs in our North West network.
    • Hold advice and drop-in sessions in the foyer of 600 MOBs reaching more than 10,000 customers. The sessions will also offer energy advice and guidance.
    • Issue 1,000 CO alarms to customers in vulnerable situations.
    • Give additional support to 300 customers on debt management, switching tariffs and energy efficiency.
    • Register 1,000 customers to the PSR.
    • Install GPS trackers in all fire valves to domestic MOBs.
